Like many stories, you never truly know where a path will lead until you take that first step. Mine began in the spring of 2021, when I purchased my first fixer‑upper. I knew it would be a lot of work—I’d watched plenty of HGTV 😉 —but nothing quite prepares you for being knee‑deep in a renovation.

During the day, I worked as a technology project manager. In the evenings and on weekends, I poured my energy into transforming this little home—gathering inspiration, refining ideas, and imagining how each room should look and feel. When it was complete, I staged it for sale… and it sold in just five days.

What I didn’t realize then was that this project was opening the door to something much bigger. I had always loved design—color, texture, layout, and the way a thoughtfully styled space can instantly shift how you feel—but seeing that home come to life sparked something I couldn’t ignore. As I selected finishes, solved challenges, and styled each room, I discovered how deeply I was drawn to this creative, hands‑on work.

After a rewarding 25‑year career in tech, I finally made the decision that had been on my heart for years, to step into the work that inspires me most. That fixer‑upper became the foundation for Modern Willow Staging—a place where creativity, care, and natural warmth come together to transform houses into homes that feel inviting, balanced, and unforgettable.

Today, I’m grateful to spend my days helping homeowners and sellers elevate their spaces through thoughtful staging and design—creating rooms that feel intentional, lived‑in, and full of possibility.
